Leone Counseling Services is a mental health agency that provides behavioral health services to youths, adults, couples, and families. We recognize that seeking counseling can be very challenging for our consumers. Therefore, we provide services that focus on creating the environment to engage our consumers and assist them in resolving the underlying issues that brought them to counseling. Specialties
Addiction: coping with emotional discomfort and suffering; reducing or abstaining from unwanted behaviors such as unhealthy gambling or shopping.
ADHD: skill-building and support around organizational challenges, distracted attention, and procrastination; building and maintaining healthy routines and structures.
Bipolar disorder: Developing coping and preventive strategies to stabilize extreme mood swings, including manic and depressive episodes; increasing effective strategy to regulate emotions; and maintaining a healthy daily routine.
Depression: providing support and promoting healing of hopelessness, low motivation and energy, sadness, irritability, sleep disturbances, and loss of interest and pleasure in life.
Impulse control issues: building self-control and emotion regulation skills; managing and reducing problematic or dangerous behaviors, such as stealing or fire setting
Suicidal ideation: support living with intense pain, distress, and feelings of persistent hopelessness; strengthening meaningful relationships and experiences in one’s life
